“Point Break” | Movie poster

A poster I have created for one of my favorite movies “Point break” (1991) is showing two main characters: Jonny Utah (Keanu Reeves) and Bodhi (Patrick Swayze), and 4 ex-presidents on the surfboards with a target mark on Ronald Reagan, who was played by Patrick Swayze.

It is the first one of the movie posters created at the agency and established within a “Film night” project. Besides this particular poster I created a concept and guidelines for that project with a support of my team at Pascher+Heinz.

Each month within one year 1 or 2 employees from any department team up for creating a movie poster in A0 size for a movie about sport that the previous poster designer challenges them to do. At the end of the month there is a poster release and a film night, where the film is shown. When 12 posters are ready, there is exhibition and an auction planned. Raised money is going to charity.
